A downloadable game for Windows

VR Escape puzzle game, created during Bachelor degree studies in a team of 2 people.

GAMEPLAY

--------------

Do you have what it takes to escape the crazy Bob in VR? Play and test out your survival and puzzle solving skills in this horror themed VR Escape game!  You wake up in an abandoned morgue as Subject 13.  As the voice coming from TV suggests, it's just a little playful experiment. You agree to join (not like you have any other choice anyways). Not only that, but you notice a weird device attached to your wrist - it's a poison injector! Do something wrong and you get a dose of nasty toxic chemicals. Can you solve all the puzzles and escape Bob?

CONTROLS (VR)

--------------

Grip - grab/interact with objects.

Trigger - teleportation.

Thumbstick - movement and rotation.

ABOUT

--------------

The game was built with Unity 2021.3.6f1. Project was created for Virtual Reality Technology Development module in my studies and rated with the highest grade. Game was tested and developed using  Dell - Visor Virtual Reality Headset and Controllers but should work with most of the popular VR devices as Unity OpenXR plugin was used.

CREDITS

--------------

Map assets and some models are from other creators, sadly links to their work were deleted during development.

All models were optimized (modified) for VR.

I like the idea but I gave up as I can't get passed the colour matching part. Pressing the boxes needs to be better. I either hit the box twice by accident as it does not register the first one or the bench suddenly moves back as I approach it and I end up pressing the wrong box.

Thanks for playing the game! Yep, there are some issues as it was a bit rushed at the end (that was the last interactive puzzle added). I've seen that there's a new setup from OpenXR that allows better physical interactions for levers/buttons, implementing it would be a nice addition.
